Free afternoon in Llachon (3,800 meters above sea level). Beginning of service in Juliaca, where our representative will be waiting for your at the harbour to ease your transfer to the Island of Taquile and then on to the community of Llachon on the Capachica Peninsula. Our captain is already waiting for us on his boat. We will navigate across Puno’s bay into the Greater Lake. The water becomes darker, and after approximately 2 ½ hours navigating, we will disembark on the island’s north shore. We will take a nice and easy path across the island discovering the particular traditions of the people in Taquile, enjoying the fabulous landscape dominates by Bolivia’s Cordillera Real. Upon reaching the centre of the island, we are in the largest town’s main plaza where you can discover local handicrafts.
